Fibonacci Strategy

A betting progression based on the Fibonacci sequence, where the position in the sequence changes according to the outcome of the previous bet.

1 → 1 → 2 → 3 → 5 → 8...

How It Works

STEP 01

Fibonacci Sequence

The bet size is determined by the current position in the sequence: 1 → 1 → 2 → 3 → 5 → 8 and so on.

STEP 02

After a Loss

The current position moves forward by one step, so the next bet corresponds to the next number in the sequence.

STEP 03

After a Win

After a win, the position moves back by two steps, but cannot go below the start of the sequence.

Progression Feature

Unlike doubling progressions, the bet size grows according to the Fibonacci sequence. This creates a more gradual increase, although bets can still become significantly larger during long losing streaks.

Important Limitation

The progression does not change the expected value of the underlying event and does not guarantee recovery of losses. During a long losing streak, the position in the sequence and the resulting bet sizes can quickly increase the strain on the bankroll.

Model Parameters

These values are used for bankroll safety calculations, the manual trainer, and the strategy simulation.

Bet Limit: a value of 0 means no limit is set.

Bankroll Safety Margin

This calculation shows how many consecutive steps in the sequence the current bankroll can cover at the specified base bet and limit.

Interactive Trainer

Run the sequence manually and observe how the bankroll and position in the Fibonacci sequence change.

Current Bankroll

After a win, the position in the sequence moves back by two steps but cannot go below the first position. After a loss, the position moves forward by one step, subject to the sequence length and maximum bet limit.

Strategy Simulation

Repeated simulations of random sequences allow you to explore how the Fibonacci progression behaves under the specified bankroll, probability, and limit parameters.

What This Section Shows

The calculator demonstrates the mathematical behavior of the Fibonacci progression: changes in bet size along the sequence, position changes after wins and losses, bankroll requirements, and the impact of the maximum bet limit. Model results do not guarantee a positive outcome for any individual betting session.
